Pilgrims

El The Camino de Santiago (or St. James Way) is one of the best-known spiritual, religious and cultural experiences in the history of humankind. Pilgrims from all over the world follow different historical routes leading to the Cathedral of Santiago. Asturias is on two of these routes: one borders the coast and the other goes inland. The inland route is what the first pilgrims used to get to Santiago de Compostela and is called “The Primitive Route”
