Rural Hotel La Figar was founded in July 2000, following an intense year of renovation work to transform the former family home into a small and charming rural hotel located in Argüero, in the heart of the Cider Region.

The newly built property was constructed while respecting the shapes and elements of traditional coastal Asturian architecture. Wood, stone, soft colours, and simple décor with a rustic touch invite guests to enjoy the house and its peaceful atmosphere. The hotel is part of a traditional “quintana”, as it is built around a typical Asturian courtyard, featuring its own hórreo (traditional granary) and a washhouse with a well, forming part of the characteristic ensemble of Asturian coastal homes.
